FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs):

How do I access the App?

Answer: Please click the "Open the App" button above. It will open your app store and will automatically begin loading the event. Please log in using the same name and email address that you provided during event registration.

If you are unable to open the app, please navigate to your mobile phone app store and search “Cvent Events”. Download and open the app, and search “Road School”.

Please note that this app is only accessible to conference registrants. Please log in using the same name and email address that you provided during event registration.

What do I need to do in the App for the session(s) that I am assigned to as a speaker and/or moderator?

Answer: Review and manage your assigned session(s) Live Q&A. Share the Check In code with your live in-room audience.

Conference attendees will have the option to “check in” to your sessions via the app in 2024. This option will be available 15 minutes before and after your assigned session time.

Checking into a session will allow attendees to participate in a Live Q&A for each individual session.

Speakers and/or Moderators should be prepared to remove any question that is inappropriate or that do not apply to the session by selecting the “X” button within the “Live Q&A” section of your session. Doing so will remove the question from the app.

Questions can be answered within the app at any time by the session speaker and/or moderators by selecting the pencil icon under a submitted question.

For a step-by-step guide and photo examples, please see the Live Q&A Quick Resource Guide provided by conference organizers below.

What is the Check In code for my session(s)? Where do I find the code?

Answer: Each session will have a unique check in code in 2024. The code will be 2024RS____ with the last 1 to 3 digit(s) being the number of the session.

For example, Session #1 will have code 2024RS1. Session codes will be listed on the signage placed outside of the session room.

Moderators should be prepared to share the session check in code at the start of the session to allow attendees to participate in the Live Q&A feature of the app.

Who do I contact if I cannot log into the app or for assistance managing attendee content during the conference?

Answer: We understand that using new technologies for the first time can be stressful and we are prepared to assist you at any time during the program at the event registration desk located in the Purdue Memorial Union, across from the exhibit hall (North and South ballrooms).
